Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kelsey was born and raised right in East Aurora. She received her Associates in Veterinary Technology in 2021 and her Bachelors in Biology in 2022 from Medaille College, graduating with honors.
Kelsey worked as a veterinary assistant and then as a licensed veterinary technician in the area during her college years and after she graduated, until joining our team in February of 2023.
Growing up, Kelsey was heavily involved in a local equine 4-H group, as well as various animal-related school programs, summer camps, volunteer opportunities and internships, receiving many awards and recognitions along the way. Much to her parents’ dismay, she gained a reputation taking in misfit and homeless animals.
Kelsey’s professional interests include exotic, farm animal, and wildlife medicine, laboratory testing, rehabilitation, and orthopedic care. She strives to make every critter feel like they are safe and cared for, whether they are large and furry, small and scaly, or somewhere in between. Her goal is to make a potentially stressful experience as calm and comfortable as possible for every one of her patients, treating each like her own pet, while providing the best possible medical care.
When away from the hospital, Kelsey enjoys horseback riding, hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and animals. She has three bunnies, named Basil, Monroe, and Danny, two Golden Retrievers named Nala and Summer, and a mustang, Nevaeh. She is hoping to someday get her license in wildlife rehabilitation, and would like to participate in animal foster care and rehoming.
Veterinary Assistant
Kali was born and raised just 15 minutes outside of the village in the rolling hills of Cowlesville. This is where her love of animals first arose, being raised around all kinds of animals – big, small, furry and even scaly!
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Leigh Ann is a licensed veterinary technician with over 20 years of clinical experience, having graduated from Medaille College, Buffalo in 2003. She takes pride in striving to communicate and interact in a compassionate way both with clients and their pets. In recent years, it has become of utmost importance to her to find the least stressful way to achieve a goal for the patient she is taking care of. This led to her becoming Fear Free Certified in 2018.
Leigh Ann enjoys all aspects of her position as veterinary technician and the variety of challenges it brings on a daily basis. She is eager to now bring those skills and experience right to the clients’ home within the mobile veterinary practice setting.
Leigh Ann spends the majority of her time with our sister practice ‘Fetch the Vet’ but is our inventory manager for both practices.
When at home, her time is spent with her husband, family and son. She is an avid scrapbooker and enjoys camping. At this time she doesn’t have any pets – taking a little time off having had a geriatric household for the last few years.
Veterinary Assistant
Amanda was welcomed onto our team in early 2025 after deciding to re-enter the veterinary workforce after taking some time out to begin raising her 4 boys.Â
She is a proud military spouse of 17 years, having travelled around the country during her husbands military career. She is an avid Buffalo sports fan and is very creative. She even has her own Etsy shop online which she enjoys managing outside of her work within the veterinary setting.Â
Amanda and her family love their French Bulldog, Petunia and their 4 month old Doxie Mix named Levi. They also have a 2 year old cat named Cosmo aka Kitty.
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Doug grew up near Ellicottville, NY where his family owns and operates a large dairy farm. As a child he was a member of his local 4H community and proudly showed cows and dairy steers. He was also a volunteer fire fighter for approximately 15 years and a volunteer EMT for 3 years.
He is an AVID Bills Fan and on any game day come the Fall, we know exactly what he’ll be doing! Go Bills!
Practice Manager & Licensed Veterinary Technician
Kelli is a licensed veterinary technician with close to 20 years of clinical experience, having graduated in 2002 from the Northern College of Applied Arts and Technology in Ontario, Canada. Having grown up in a small town outside of Hamilton, Canada she worked in a mixed animal practice in Ontario immediately following graduation, before moving to Buffalo in 2010.
Over the past 10 years she has been working locally at a busy multi-doctor hospital where she excelled both as a veterinary technician, but also took on increased responsibility as inventory manager and most recently acted as their lead assistant.
Kelli strives to make each client and patient feel special and comfortable when caring for them. As part of this goal she spearheaded instituting ‘Bravery Certificates’ for patients that were undergoing surgical or in hospital care. It is because of her desire to provide this high quality care and dedication, alongside the initiative to go above and beyond for the clients and patients that she comes into contact with, that we are thrilled to have her become part of our team.
Kelli moved back to Canada earlier this year to be closer to family, but missed us all so much that she came back just a couple of months later and now commutes twice a week to us! The feelings were mutual and she was promoted to the position of Practice Manager for both Fetch the Vet M.V.P and our sister hospital East Aurora Veterinary Hospital. She is advancing her knowledge in practice management and is working hard behind the scenes in addition to her active role as one of our veterinary technicians on a day to day basis.
Customer Service Representative
She truly enjoys helping care for animals, while supporting the people who love them. Growing up with animals inspired her passion for veterinary medicine, and she strives to bring kindness, patience, and understanding to every interaction she has with our clients.
When not at the hospital, she enjoys spending time outdoors visiting state parks, crocheting, and making memories with her daughter. At home, she is kept busy caring for her Labrador, Max, and her two cats, Moe and Chloe.
Veterinary Assistant
Paula grew up in Buffalo and attended ECC for her undergraduate studies. She went on to work in a five-doctor animal hospital as the lead veterinary assistant for 12 years. There she was certified as a Fear-Free caregiver and she has always enjoyed the challenge of making animals as comfortable as possible while at the vet.
Paula and her family have also been puppy raisers for Guiding Eyes for the Blind since 2009. In that time, she became well-versed in handling many different animal behaviors and training methods, as well as learning an incredible amount of patience.
Paula shares her home with her husband and son. They are accompanied by their retired guide dog, Fuller, a lovable yellow lab and their happy chickens. In her free time, she enjoys country living, reading, gardening, and trying new recipes. If you see her, ask her who her favorite Marvel character is!
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Eric was born and raised in the WNY area and has had a love for animals since a very early age. He has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2003. Eric spent over 2 decades at a local emergency/specialty referral/primary care hospital. It was there that he became skilled in all aspects of veterinary medicine including caring for sick, injured and critically hospitalized patients as well as caring for those patients that came in for routine wellness visits.
He was excited when the opportunity presented itself to join EAVH and its sister practice Fetch the Vet M.V.P. It enabled him to share his many years of experience and skill set while adding more diversity to the already established team.
During his lengthy career in veterinary medicine, one of the things Eric realized he loves the most are the people: the clients, his colleagues and his teammates alike. Eric is very much a people person and interacting with people is as much an important part of veterinary medicine as caring for the patients is, which he obviously also loves.
In his free time Eric loves spending time with his family, and friends that are family. He and his family live on a hobby farm in East Aurora where they have 2 mini donkeys, chickens, a garden koi pond (that he designed and built) 2 tortoises and 3 box turtles, as well as a dog and cats.
Eric also enjoys watching his sons play sports, landscape design, gardening, hiking, listening to music, collecting new vinyl records, reading, as well as watching and playing sports.
Lead Customer Service Representative
Kerry has spent over 29 years working in the veterinary field and is a very experienced CSR. She has a wealth of knowledge on how to assist clients and keep the front of house running smoothly. It is based on her vast experience and clear motivation to be a well respected and valued member of our team that she has been quickly promoted to Lead CSR for our hospital. We consider ourselves very lucky to have had her join our team in 2025.
Kerry has been married for over 25 years and she is a proud mom to an amazing daughter. She loves to teach Zumba classes, read, travel and hike with her family and friends.
In the summer months she can be found gardening where she loves to spend time with her two dogs Willie and Charlie.
