Jim Tudini DVM

Owner & Lead Veterinarian

Dr. Tudini graduated in 2008 with a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from St George’s University, Grenada, West Indies. Dr. Tudini practiced small animal veterinary medicine in the Buffalo area for 10 years following his graduation. He then spent 5 years practicing exclusively emergency medicine at a local emergency hospital while occasionally acting as a relief veterinarian for Fetch the Vet M.V.P.

Returning to the hospital that he started his veterinary career at as an assistant when he was just 15 yrs old, he is now proudly owner and lead veterinarian at East Aurora Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Tudini is passionate about emergency medicine and orthopedic surgery but has the same shared focus as his wife for how important retaining quality of care for individual clients and patients is in today’s fast paced world. His goals are always to practice in a manner that creates trust and confidence in the client/patient relationship. He hopes to continue developing his orthopedic surgical capabilities for his patients.

Dr. Tudini is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and New York Veterinary Medical Society. In his time outside of the veterinary hospital he can be found enjoying life on their small family homestead where he and his wife raise chickens, beef and make honey from their own colonies of bees!

Dr Tudini graduated in 2007 with a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from St George’s University, Grenada, West Indies. She then went on to successfully achieve certification through the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK and was a small animal veterinarian in England before moving to New York State in 2009. Since moving to WNY, Dr Tudini has been practicing small animal veterinary medicine in the Buffalo area and most recently became certified as a Fear-Free Practitioner in 2018.

Dr Tudini has always had a particular interest in Internal Medicine with a focus on Endocrinology and Gastroenterology.

She also enjoys soft tissue surgery and has received further training in the use of Endoscopy for both diagnostic and treatment purposes.

It was her passion however for providing honest, trustworthy and dedicated care to her patients and clients that ultimately became the driving force behind founding WNY’s first full service mobile veterinary practice – Fetch the Vet M.V.P in 2018.

Dr Tudini strives to help clients understand all aspects of their pet’s health and well-being, whether that be in regard to preventative care, medical concerns or the subsequent treatment they receive.

Dr Tudini is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Although the majority of her patients comprise of cats and dogs, she also enjoys managing the health care needs of small mammal companions including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets. When she isn’t at the hospital, she shares family life with her husband and three children living life on their small farm.

Sara Huckabone DVM, CVA, CCRT

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Sara Huckabone was born and raised in Kenmore, NY, and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Wellesley College in 2006. Before veterinary school, she followed her love of nature and animals by teaching outdoor education, leading backpacking trips in Yosemite, and working in wildlife rehabilitation.

She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and completed her acupuncture certification through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) in 2015 — a program that blends Western acupuncture techniques with Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2025, she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute.

Dr. Sara believes every patient can benefit from an integrated approach to healing. Her special interests include managing internal medicine cases and helping older animals maintain mobility and comfort. After nine years in general practice in California, she and her family returned to Western NY in 2022. When she’s not caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, exploring East Aurora, and throwing pottery.

 
Megan Dudek DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Dudek was born and raised in Western New York. An avid violinist, she originally attended SUNY Fredonia where she received a Bachelor’s degree in music business. She spent several years working in the Buffalo music industry before deciding to return to school to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian.

She attended the University at Buffalo for her pre-veterinary studies, and received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. As a student, she was inducted into the Phi Zeta veterinary honor society Alpha chapter.

Dr. Dudek’s professional interests include surgery, urgent care, sports medicine and rehabilitation. She is BLS and ALS certified through the RECOVER initiative, and is also Fear Free certified.

She resides in the Southtowns with her husband, their dog, three cats, and two geckos.
